group for women volunteers The Children’s Home has volunteer training from
administrative work to tutoring or maintenance projects. May require
references. Forsyth County Public Library
offers possibilities from crafts to clerical, shelving, and research. Forsyth Humane Society has a structured volunteer program
with a variety of options. Habitat
for Humanity has multiple volunteer opportunities in building and in
their Re-store locations. Hospice provides care to people
with “life-limiting illness” and their families. They offer volunteer
opportunities visiting with patients, helping with special events, and more. The
YMCA has multiple volunteer opportunities ranging from
literacy work and tutoring to landscaping. |
