Ann Marie Tucker, LMFT
Ann Marie provides individual and family therapy for adults, adolescents, and children 6 years and older. She strives to create a safe space in which clients can explore their situation, identify their hopes and goals, and develop positive coping skills as they work toward healing in mind, body and spirit. She considers it a privilege to assist others in that journey.
To address concerns such as anger, anxiety, PTSD, depression, ADHD and bipolar she uses approaches from cognitive-behavioral (CBT), solution focused therapy, and trauma based therapies. Ann Marie has experience with many conditions including grief, sexual trauma, teenage & family issues, domestic violence and child maltreatment.
For her own renewal Ann Marie loves to walk, sing, relax with music and bird watch. A native of North Carolina, she and her husband enjoy the wonder and beauty of nature, from their own backyard to our state’s mountains and coast. She received a BA degree from High Point University and a MA from Scarritt College (Nashville, TN) and has been a licensed therapist since 1997.
