Katy Snow, PMH-NP

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Katy Snow works with all ages and helps people find recovery through the path that is right for them – medication, natural treatments, and therapy or lifestyle interventions.

Katy has extensive nursing experience with children and adolescents, in schools, hospitals, and medical offices. When working with youth, she emphasizes interventions that will be good for the long term health of the brain and the body. Psychiatric problems often run in families, and she works with families to help prevent those problems in their children. She is familiar with the educational system and can help guide families to make that work better for their children, from Individual Education plans, and 504 plans.

She earned her Associate’s degree from the College of Health Sciences in Roanoke, Virginia.  She continued her education at Western Governors University to earn her BSN and MSN. She holds a post-Master’s degree from the University of Cincinnati and completed part of that training at the Mood Treatment Center.

Katy has worked with therapeutic foster children in her home as a foster family. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband traveling, biking, and exploring the great outdoors.
