Each year Best Doctors of America  asks physicians  “If you or a loved one needed a doctor in your specialty, to whom would you refer them?” Our medical director, Chris Aiken, has been selected for this honor since 2010.

Dr. Aiken founded the Mood Treatment Center in 2008 as a place where people from all fields of mental health could come together to help patients and families and learn from each other along the way. He supervises the work of other clinicians in the practice.

The Mood Treatment Center has also been received the Reader’s Choice Award from the Winston-Salem Journal and the Patient’s Choice Award from Vitals.com.
