Jessica Phipps, LCSW

Therapist

Jessica Phipps has over 15 years of experience helping people discover methods to manage life’s challenges. In therapy she blends cognitive behavioral (CBT) and mindfulness strategies to help people rebuild hope and self-esteem and manage distressing symptoms. In helping people recover she explores the influence of their environment, including their family, work, community and physical health. Conditions she works with include depression, anxiety, bipolar, substance abuse, trauma, domestic violence, crisis-intervention, psychosis and memory problems.

Jessica obtained her graduate degree in social work from Winthrop University and is a LCSW (licensed clinical social worker). She believes everyone has the strength within themselves to cope when educated about their condition, given treatment options, and equipped with practical skills. She enhances personal awareness by acting as a mirror to reveal strengths and areas for growth.
