- Specializes in working with young adults between the ages of 15 to 25 years old dealing with depression, trauma, anxiety, ADHD, substance abuse, and suicidal ideations.
- She guides clients to reach their full potential by encouraging and empowering them to pull from their own strengths, spirituality, and experiences.
- She uses many techniques including, Motivational Interviewing, Attachment Theory, Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, & Solution Focused Therapy.
A North Carolina native, Keisha learned from her own experiences that change is hard, but necessary. She worked hard to overcome many obstacles and felt called to help others do the same. Keisha received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Management from High Point University before earning her Master of Science Degree in School Counseling from North Carolina A&T State University. She began her career as a Professional School Counselor in a local high school, before pursuing her certification as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist. She believes that her experiences in the education, mental health, and substance abuse fields are valuable for healing and empowering the next generation.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her three children, walking, vacationing, volunteering, scrapbooking, and attending live concerts.
