Leah emphasizes non-judgement and compassion in her therapeutic approach to help people successfully access and trust their own personal wisdom and overcome life’s obstacles and struggles. Within an environment of nourishment and advocacy, Leah works alongside individuals, couples, and families to help them meet their goals. In her person-centered approach she draws from mindfulness, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy, CBT, and Motivational Interviewing. Leah was drawn to therapy due to her passion to provide excellent care and genuine enjoyment working with people from all walks of life and array of concerns.

Leah completed her Master of Social Work at UNC, Chapel Hill, and completed her Bachelor of Arts at Appalachian State University. Within her studies at UNC, Chapel Hill, Leah completed extensive substance use and addictions training. In her free time you will find her enjoying time outdoors, cooking, or showering her beloved dog in pets and praises.
