Lindsey Goldberg, DNP, MSN-Ed., PMHNP-BC
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Her therapeutic modalities include some of the following: mindfulness, humanistic, existential, natural/environmental, lifestyle modifications, nutritional, and the overall promotion of wellness. She uses both non-pharmacological and pharmacological treatments in her practice. Her clients appreciate her attentiveness and ability to connect and hear what they are saying and even what they might not be saying.
Lindsey was born in the midwest, grew up South Florida, and landed in NC and has claimed it as home. Lindsey is passionate and dedicated to her profession however, she lives for quality time with her husband, children, and 9 animals! She believes having a comfortable, safe, and clean environment is vital to one’s physical and mental health. A home should be a sanctuary and Lindsey wants to advocate for her clients and guide them toward their peaceful refuge. Post-pandemic she has developed a new love for staying at home and finding joy in the little things. She loves to learn, enjoys yoga, meditation, dancing and weight lifting, listening to audiobooks or podcasts, prefers music over TV, but loves a good true crime documentary or psychological thrillers (think M Night Shyamalan or Steven King). Once the warmer months arrive, she enjoys the outdoors, hikes, and anything involving animals.
Lindsey is on a journey to destigmatize and normalize all things mental health. Lindsey welcomes anyone to reach out, including the LGBTQIA community and those in active addiction or recovery. Lindsey hopes to be an advocate for her clients, to offer the type of support they need, by personalizing their care, meeting them where they are, and helping clients to reach for, plan, and achieve their goals in mental wellness and life!
