It’s hard enough to ask for mental help. Getting it shouldn’t be so difficult.

For people on Medicare, it can be nearly impossible to find a therapist who takes their insurance.  Medicare only covers therapy by psychologists and social workers. In North Carolina, only a minority of therapists have those degrees, and nearly half of them are not accepting medicare. The problem is currently being debated in Congress (let your representatives know how you feel about the issue).

Our billing team broke through that brick wall. Nearly all medicare plans have agreed to cover services here. They are making the exception because our therapists work closely with physicians and nurse practitioners in the practice.
