What inspired you to go into therapy?
A deep curiosity about others and their experience and a passion for learning drew me to the unique position of therapist. The ability to be both creative and scientific while helping others in their journey to wellness is inherently rewarding. I believe in the individual potential for change and the unending resilience that we each possess.
How can clients get the most out of therapy?
It can be an intimidating decision to pursue therapy but it is the most valuable choice you can make in seeking mental wellness. It is important to feel safe enough within the therapeutic relationship to be open and honest about your thoughts, feelings, and experiences.
What’s your favorite book [movie, play, sport, quote, hobbie, etc]?
I enjoy time spent outside hiking or at the lake. I believe in the power of creative expression and spend time in a variety of creative pursuits including painting, drawing, baking, and photography.
