Brittany Bodwell, LCMHC
Brittany is experienced in several evidence-based therapies for mood, anxiety, and trauma including cognitive, mindfulness, and dialectical behavior therapies (CBT and DBT). She has experience helping people manage stress, relationships, and life crises. Among the conditions she treats are depression, bipolar, anxiety, trauma, borderline personality disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and psychosis. She has training in specialized approaches for trauma including EMDR and expressive-arts therapy. She provides individual, family, marital, and group therapy.
Brittany received her graduate degree in counseling from Appalachian State University. She continues to further her education as a therapist and has helped to teach and train other therapists as well.
In her free time, Brittany enjoys painting, spending time in nature, and spending time with friends and family.
