Laura Ingalls, LPC-A

Laura works with adults, families, couples and children. Prior to joining the Mood Treatment Center she worked as a therapist on college campuses and at survivor response centers. She has specialized experience working with survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault and is a passionate advocate for suicide prevention.

Laura works from a holistic and empowerment perspective and believes that every individual has the ability to achieve wellness. Through gentle and genuine care, she encourages healthy coping skills, instillation of hope and preservation, and engendering authenticity with clients. Laura’s interests lie in trauma-informed care, cognitive behavioral therapy, solutions-focused therapy, and mindfulness techniques.

Laura received her undergraduate degree from Elon University and graduate degree from Wake Forest University. In her free time, Laura enjoys hiking and being outdoors, reading, and spending time with family and her two Huskies.
