Laura Ingalls, LCMHCA
Laura works with adults, families, couples and children. She approaches therapy from a holistic perspective, drawing from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and a therapy for trauma-related conditions, brainspotting. She believes that everyone has the ability to achieve wellness. Through gentle and genuine care, she encourages healthy coping skills and works to help clients find hope, perseverance, and live more full and authentic lives. She has specialized experience working with domestic violence and sexual assault survivors and is a passionate advocate for suicide awareness and prevention.
Laura received her undergraduate degree from Elon University and graduate degree from Wake Forest University. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and being outdoors, kickboxing, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
