Marianna Bowen, LCMHCA
Marianna works with children, adults, and families. She believes in the power of the human brain to heal and change after trauma or other life challenges. She works to create a safe, non-judgmental environment where sharing, reflection, processing, and empowerment can occur. Marianna has experience working with trauma, oppositional defiant disorder, anxiety, depression, bipolar, ADHD, abuse, anger management, family conflict, and other mental health and life challenges.
Marianna believes in meeting the client where they are, utilizing the technique that best fits the client. Among the therapies she uses are: Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Mindfulness techniques, and Play Therapy techniques for children and adolescents.
Marianna graduated from Liberty University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and pets. She also likes to spend time outdoors and loves to go to the movies. Sports are a big part of her family, so she can often be seen on the sidelines cheering while her husband coaches and her youngest son plays.
