Miriam Dineen, MMS, PA-C

PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT

Miriam has been a practicing Physician Assistant since 2009 and has a rich background in internal and integrative medicine. After seeing the impact that mental health has on overall health, she decided to specialize in psychiatry.  As an experienced clinician, she understands that medication management is just part of the bigger picture of health and happiness.  Using a patient centered approach, she works alongside other supporting members of the patient care team to develop and guide each person through an individualized treatment plan. She sees patients of all ages and has a particular interest in adolescents and young adults.

Miriam majored in neuroscience and graduated with distinction from the University of Virginia. She received her Masters of Medical Science at Wake Forest University. She earned a Certificate of Added Qualification in Psychiatry through the NCCPA. In her free time, Miriam enjoys spending time with her husband and two young daughters. She enjoys traveling, running, the Peloton, college football, and getting together with friends.
