Sarah Lempka, LCSW-A

Therapist

Sarah (she/they) works with adults ages 18-65.  They are a queer, non-binary, neurodivergent therapist who feels passionate about helping clients build functional, fulfilling, and healthy lives for themselves.  They have experience working with college students, LGBTQIA+, substance use, trauma, and neurodivergent (ADHD and Autistic) folks.  They are also knowledgeable about kink identity/dynamics and polyamory/consensual non-monogamy.

Their therapeutic style includes techniques from solution-focused (to identify and reach tangible goals), motivational interviewing (to help with clarity and values), emotion-focused (for increasing emotional awareness and self-compassion), DBT (for mindfulness and crisis situations), and attachment (for understanding relational patterns).

Sarah completed a B.A. in Psychology and a Master of Social Work at West Virginia University (go Mountaineers!)  In their free time, Sarah is an avid crossword player and enjoys baking, traveling, and playing with her two cats, Hank and Pepper.
