Esther Suess, LCMHC
Esther works with children, adolescents and adults. She helps clients build their own strengths, drawing from therapy approaches such as dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and a therapy for trauma-related conditions, brainspotting. Giving hope when people feel hopeless, and positively affecting the life of other human beings is what motivates her to be a therapist.
Particular areas of interest include Eating Disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), mood disorders, family issues, and relationship problems.
Esther completed her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Wake Forest University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). She is brainspotting certified and has received specialized training and supervision in treating OCD, Eating Disorders, and trauma. She works from a Health At Every Size perspective.
In her free time, Esther plays the violin and enjoys horseback riding, yoga, and traveling.
