Jeff Rinehart, MA, LPA
Jeff brings a practical approach to therapy, drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing to help people build skills to manage difficult problems. He works with adults, adolescents and families. Conditions he is experienced with include depression, anxiety, bipolar, OCD, PTSD, addictions, ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder, and schizophrenia. He has advanced training in an evidenced-based therapy for addictions in adolescents called the Adolescent Community Reinforcement Approach (A-CRA).
Originally from West Virginia, Jeff moved to North Carolina shortly after completing his graduate degree at Marshall University in 1996. Since then he has worked as a licensed psychological associate providing therapy in a variety of settings including outpatient, residential and in-home services.
Jeff is married with two children. Outside of his therapy work he enjoys time with family, travelling, playing music with friends, and learning about new cultures.
