With over 20-years of experience, Sheila provides psychotherapy for individuals ages 18-75. Her approach to therapy is relational, genuine, strength-based and culturally responsive. She believes that therapeutic change occurs in the context of non-judgmental, accepting, and collaborative relationships.

Therapeutic Modalities: Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Family Systems, Relational, and Psychodynamic.

Specialties: Mood and Anxiety Disorders, Grief/Loss, LGBTQ, Women’s Issues, Sexual Health, ADHD, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, and Mindful Self-Compassion.

In her free time, Sheila enjoys writing, bird-watching, meditation, and spending time with family and dog Archie.
